The Career Gear Associate Board (CGAB) is the young-professionals extension of Career Gear. It aims to support Career Gear management and directors in helping men obtain and keep jobs, and emerge as successful fathers and community leaders. The CGAB executes the organization's mission by lending professional expertise to strategic and operational priorities, recruiting volunteers, fundraising, and communications.

Bryan Weber has been involved with Career Gear since 2007 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Associate Board. As an attorney for Gogick, Byrne & O'Neill, LLP, Bryan provides counsel to Architects and Engineers in New York and Connecticut. He is a Barrister in the Denis McInerny Inns of Court of New York County and a member of the New York Legal Assistance Group. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Grassroots Initiative, a non-profit organization that enables individuals to gain access to the political process. Bryan is a graduate of both the University of Delaware and Quinnipiac University School of Law. 

Chris Steib has served on the Associate Board since 2008, and co-chairs the Communication Committee. In the for-profit world, Chris is the Director of Product Development for Thrillist, a leading men's lifestyle brand focused on new, under-appreciated, or undiscovered places to eat, drink, and shop in 17 cities in the US and UK. Chris is an amateur accordionist and was the winner of Paddy Reilly's Karaoke Idol competition in 2009. He works and lives in New York.

Elise King has served on the Associate Board since 2009 and chairs the Recruiting and Volunteer committee.  She found Career Gear through the philanthropic group, nycTIES. She came to New York to attend Barnard College, Columbia University where she graduated magna cum laude in 2007 with a degree in American Studies and Politcal Science while being a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow. She is now a contemporary modern dancer performing with Alpha Omega Theatrical Dance Company and Daniel Gwirtzman as well as a development assistant for the dance company Jennifer Muller/ The Works. She was recently selected to be Vice President of nycTIES.

Ricardo Martinez has served on the Associate Board since 2010 and is a member of the Events committee. Ricardo manages the PENCIL Fellows Program, which provides successful, career-minded juniors and seniors in New York City public high schools with dynamic learning experiences through full-time paid summer internship positions. He has gained valuable knowledge in the areas of fundraising and programs by volunteering at such nonprofit organizations as the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Isabella Nursing Home and Gay Men's Health Crisis. Ricardo holds an MS in Nonprofit Management from Milano The New School for Management and Urban Policy and a BA from Stony Brook University.

Sarah Graham joined the CGAB in fall 2008, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Events Committee. She works in Foundation Relations at Carnegie Hall, performing grant writing and management, donor research, and developing foundation fundraising strategies. An active singer, Sarah is the Vice President of Cantori New York, an acclaimed choir that performs regularly throughout New York City under the direction of Mark Shapiro.  Sarah received a B.A. in American Studies with Distinction from Yale University.

Christopher Stella has served on the Associate Board since 2008, and co-chairs the Communication Committee. He is a marketing and communications professional and holds a BA in English/Writing and Rhetoric from Villanova University.
