Our 11th annual Capital Persuit, held on April 29, was a huge success. Hundreds of Career Gear supporters came to The Prince George Ballroom to bring in much needed funding to help us better serve our clients. John Forté, formerly of The Fugees, performed and shared his personal experiences of how a second chance helped him succeed. Rob Morrison of CBS served as the emcee and Patrick Tully was an excellent auctioneer and Marcellus Wiley, a former NFL player and ESPN analyst, gave a rousing speech. Two members of the Professional Development Series told everyone about how Career Gear helped them get back on their feet.
